CHRISTINA CARMOSINO
Hometown: Albany, NY
Background: Four knee surgeries later, I decided that running was a much “safer” sport for my body… I grew up playing soccer and basketball throughout high school, and then collegiate level soccer. When I moved to San Diego in 2012, I started racing triathlon, but running still remains #1.
Racing Competitively Since: 2007
PRs:
10K: 38:47 (run split, San Diego International Triathlon)
Half Marathon: 1:24:50
The Fun Questions:

Favorite Workout: Anything coastal and long
Words to Live By: “If it’s still in your mind, it’s worth taking the risk”
Why I Choose to Run for PRT: PRT has an incredible group of runners. Inspiring and FAST, and fun too! Lots of ladies to get faster with…
What I Like to Do Besides Running: Swimming and biking, of course… but, in the meantime, I enjoy some down time with legs up, sun, and beach. I love my work as a physical therapist, and anything involving health and fitness. And… my daily dose of coffee and NPR.
