Hometown: Born in Anaheim, CA, lived in Encinitas, CA since 1978
Background: I was a recreational runner until my late 50’s at which point I realized I could compete with the top runners in my age group. Since joining PRT, I have been competing both locally and nationally on a regular basis.

5K: 18:53 (Carlsbad 5000, 2016, age 58)
8K: 31:18 (USATF Masters Championships, 2018, age 60)
10K: 39:30 (Coronado Valentine's 10K, 2018, age 60)
Half Marathon: 1:31:07 (Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego, age 65)
Highlights:
Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego Half Marathon – finished first in age group in 2023 and 2024
Carlsbad 5000 - finished first in age group in 2024
Dirt Dog XC - finished third in age group in 2018 and 2019
USATF Club Nationals - finished twelfth place in age group in 2017

Why I Choose to Run for PRT: I appreciate the support and encouragement that PRT team members offer to each other.
Favorite PRT Memory: Taking 12th place in the 60+ division at the 2017 USATF Club Nationals in Lexington and then watching the 50+ team take 3rd place in the freezing cold!
